Rebecca is calling out the bull

Wyoming has been served so much political bull, so we're firing up the grill.

This week's entries close in—
Rebecca Bextel Meet Rebecca

Rebecca is calling out the bull.

She has lived in Wyoming for more than twenty years, raising four daughters with her husband Jonathan and running small businesses alongside him.

She got into politics because something local went wrong — filing public records requests, challenging wasteful spending, and asking officials to account for decisions they would rather not have explained. She has since served as a Republican precinct and state committeewoman and as an alternate delegate to the Republican National Convention in 2020 and 2024, and is running for governor on limited government, energy independence, property rights and the Western way of life.

Asking for the receipt is the habit that started all of it.

What we're after

The biggest, juiciest, most thoroughly documented load of bull in Wyoming.

Every week we give away a massive tomahawk steak to the Wyoming voter who finds it. Not the loudest complaint — the best documented one.

Call the bull. Bring the receipts.

How it works

Three steps and a steak.

01

Assemble the bull

Social media posts, TV, interviews, in-person events — anything said on the record that you can prove false.

02

Submit your bull

Attach your files, or just tell us where to look. Legislation, voting records, video, news reports, public documents.

03

We pick a winner

We verify every submission, separate the prime cuts from the mystery meat, and one Wyoming voter takes home the tomahawk.

This week's prizeA massive tomahawk steak

Or a steak dinner for two, if you would rather somebody else did the cooking. Winner's choice.

One winner every week for as long as the bull keeps coming, which by our estimate is a while.

Bull pick of the week

Rebecca picks this week's cut.

One a week, straight off the grill. She names it, shows the paper it's written on, and lets you check her work.

If Barlow keeps talking,

Wyoming is going to

run out of meat.

No rumors. No gossip. No "my cousin heard." Just facts, documentation, and enough evidence to make the bull nervous. One winner a week. No purchase or contribution necessary — full official rules are linked below.
